Today I have a 7 Gypsies White Solo Shadowbox Tray to share that I was going to post last week and I was fussing over it as I wasn't sure what to put in the little boxes! It finally came together when I decided to use The Girl's Paperie Whimsy line of papers. These papers are no longer available unless you happen to find them in your local stamp or scrapbook stores or online stores.

In the first box on the left hand side, I made the little begonia flowers myself. I used the Punch Bunch Medium Begonia Petals punch and the Small Geranium punch. I colored each petal with Copic markers and then shaded with Faber Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils. Susan Tierney Cockburn designed these punches for Punch Bunch. I was very fortunate to take classes from Susan in the Seattle area at a local stamp store about 7 years ago. The fence is balsa wood that I purchased from Cindy Lyles here. I love this balsa wood! It is very light and ran through my Big Shot just fine. I used Taylored Expressions Picket Fence Border die. I applied some Ranger Old Paper Distress Stain on the fence. I put a pearl headpin in this little box as well to add some sparkle!

In the middle box, I put some of the rolled papers that I did in my post here. I wanted to add these rolled papers as it gives it such a unique look.

In the last box on the right, I made another flower from Sizzix's Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die. I molded the leaves as I did with the begonias and glued the pieces together and added a pink pearl in the middle. I am loving this Tattered Florals die! I added some Prima Rose Leaves and put another pearl headpin in the box to again give it a little sparkle.
The kitty in the picture is named Lilac. She does not belong to me! She lives way up the hill and road from me. She first came to visit in May 2007 when my dad was dying and I was taking care of him. I found out later that Lilac had been hanging out across the road at my neighbor's house first. Then wandered across the road to snoop around over here!
There is more to the Lilac story, but I don't want to bore anyone! I'll be posting a card or project on Saturday so stop by again. Thanks for stopping by and have a good week!
