Karen Lockhart released new images right at the end of 2011, early this month. I think this is one of my favorite releases that Karen has done in awhile! I bought a couple of the flower images that I will be doing something with soon. Today's card shows Karen's new Clear Lake Sofa, Itty Bitty Sleepy Kitty and Itty Bitty Basket of Yarn! When I saw these, I thought these images would make a great retirement card, thank you, get well, birthday card. The sofa and kitty are so soothing and calming. Makes you want to take a nap or lay on the sofa and read. Or watch TV!
I am very addicted to October Afternoon's Farmhouse line! I used the Farmhouse 8x8 paper pad for the patterned papers you see. I also used a button from the Farmhouse Button pack. I wasn't too sure about the colors in the pack when I first saw it, but as I put the various colors up to the papers, they match perfectly. I used some Hillcreek Designs Linen Thread to tie a little bow through the button.
