Bats

I forgot that I made some bats last year and did not post them. I used a Sizzix die by Karen Burniston called 3-D Pop-Up Bat. The bat can go into the inside of a card which I have not done yet. When I bought the die, I thought it would be fun to make them so that you can hang them. The die has all the pieces to make a bat. I glued in some black Divine Twine to the middle so that I could hang them. I added little googly eyes into the eye pieces to give them a little more character! To use the bat in a card, you just leave out pieces of the middle body part and glue into the middle of a card.

You can also use this die for a pumpkin. Karen designed a separate die with a pop-up pumpkin, but I think you can use this for a pumpkin inside a card. Or a pumpkin to place for some decor. You could use some leaves from other dies you may have on hand to the top. Maybe die cut leaves in felt and add that to the top.
