Happy Halloween! I little early, but before you know it, it will be here. I recently purchased some of Dave's new Memory Box dies from Cindy Lyles and I couldn't wait to do something with the Creepy Frame die. It comes in 2 sizes, large and small. I believe that Cindy is the only one carrying these 2 dies right now. I have not seen them on other webstores. Cindy is now carrying the Memory Box dies in her webstore, StarLitStudio. Check out her store, she ships out quickly and gives excellent service.
I love how the the spider webs in the two corners die cut out so nicely. It just looks so crisp and clean. I used Memory Box Blackbird 6x6 paper pack for the patterned papers which I think was released a couple of years ago. I recently purchased Lawn Fawn's Hoppy Halloween small stamp set with the cute bunny pretending to be a vampire. I was going to put a Lawn Fawn spider and bat in the frame, but then decided that the Memory Box Dangling Spider die would go much better! With the spider's legs, I remembered the carrot in this Hoppy Halloween set. The carrot fits right in the spider's front legs! He's taunting the bunny with the carrot although the bunny seems to be oblivious to all this! I have some googly eyes in different sizes and this tiny size fit on the spider. Makes him look cuter rather than so sinister.
I also used the Memory Box Graveyard Landscape die. I was also thinking of having a die cut ghost coming up from between the headstones, but then figured it was putting in too many pieces and I wanted that crazy spider and cute bunny to be the focal point in the frame.
Hope you enjoyed my card today. Have a good week and see you next Monday.
